Prime Minister of the Czech Republic to visit Cambodia

The Prime Minister of the Czech Tepublic, Mr. Jan Fischer (pictured) and his wife, Mrs. Dana Fischer Ova, will pay a 4-day official visit to Cambodia from 25-28 April at the invitation of the Cambodian government, reports Khmer Express News.

According to his itinerary, the Czech Prime Minister and his wife will arrive at Phnom Penh's Pochentong Airport on Sunday afternoon. Mr. Khieu Kanharith, Minister of Information, said he has been put in charge of the Czech leader's visit and will personally accompany him during the duration of the visit, while Mrs. Borey Hor, wife of Foreign Minister Hor Namhong, will act as a host to Mrs. Dana Fischer Ova. During his visit, the Czech Prime Minister will visit a Buddha Relic Memorial (Sakyamuni Chedei) at the ancient royal capital of Oudong in Kamdal province as well as participating in a two-hour Cambodian-Czech trade seminar where he will meet Mr. Sok Chenda Sorphea, head of the Cambodian Development Council, to discuss Cambodian-Czech bilateral trades with other Czech businessmen.

On 26th, He will meet with Prime Minister Hun sen to sign a numbers of bilateral agreements. Mrs. fischer Ova will then hand over tow Cambodian child who had received succesful heart transplants to Mr. Marm Bunheng, the Health Minister.

On 27th, Mr. and Mrs. Fischer will have an audience with King Sihamoni before travelling on to Siem Reap to visit Angkor Wat temple.
